Andrea is running for Douglas County Clerk to improve how the office serves the people of Douglas County—making it more accessible, consistent, and compassionate.

1. Improve Customer Experience

Andrea believes the Clerk’s Office must be more user-friendly, especially for individuals navigating stressful legal situations. She will focus on simplifying processes, improving communication, and ensuring the public is treated with patience and respect.

2. Expand Language Accessibility

To better serve the entire community, Andrea is committed to making services and paperwork accessible to both English and Spanish speakers—ensuring equal opportunity for residents.

3. Strengthen Staff Training & Retention

High turnover creates inconsistency and frustration for both staff and the public. Andrea will implement stronger training programs, clearer expectations, and consistent supervision to build a more stable and effective team.

4. Increase Efficiency & Consistency

By streamlining internal processes and improving communication, Andrea will work to ensure the Clerk’s Office operates smoothly and reliably—so residents can depend on timely and accurate service.
